1. This is what is printed in the product discription for Multi Zen (on the web site), Application: Administer to nutrient solution from early on in the vegetative stage throughout the third week of flowering. But the feed charts that I have seen put out but your company say to start the first week of flower. Which is it?
2. I have plants that showed Mag deficiency after I changed to new containers of Aqua Flakes A/B. Any Ideas of what happened?
Hey Greg,
We apologize! Still adjusting nutrient calculator. Multi Zen helps break down old root material and nutrient’s, thats one reason you can use in veg if necessery and mother plants can also benifit for the same reason. Just follow the chart if you feel the calculator is being adjusted still.
I honestly am not sure what happened! I do know H&G checks every batch for quality before leaving Holland. In some places the water source can change from season to season. If you let us know more we may be able to work out the problem.
Thanks for your patience!
why is this saying i should add multi zen throughout veg stage but it says only use during flowering on the nutrient calculator? can you make clear for me?
Hey John,
We apologize! Still adjusting nutrient calculator. Multi Zen helps break down old root material and nutrient
My product is labelled Multi Zyme from House and Garden. Are they the same as Multi Zen on your Website?
Thank you in anticipation of your prompt reply
Hi Anthony,
The Multi Zyme and Multizen are the same product. The name had to be changed to protect the innocent. Peace!

Curious-
My new feed chart suggests to feed MultiZen in veg, the old charts did not. Has there been a change in the formula?
Hi Laura,
The formula has not changed. The scientists just figured out that it’s beneficial to use Multizen during veg. Peace!

will multi zen still work if i use hydrogen peroxide in a top feed drain to waste soilless mix? will the peroxide kill the process of the old roots being broken down when i re-use my medium for several crops? i can always scrap the peroxide if its going to complicate things i just love the benefits that it provides. thank you
Hi Danny,
We don’t recommend to use hydrogen peroxide with House and Garden. It kills stuff that we don’t want to kill. Use Roots Excelurator. Peace!

I saw a H&G chart recently that said to use Multizen till harvest but I think it may of been a foreign chart. In USA the formula is used solely for veg(new info to me) until week 3? I find that I start using BUD XL during the third week of flowering due to buds forming which really has been beneficial to my plants.
Hi Jay,
Multizen is stopped after week 3 on an eight week plant, week 4 on a 10 week plant, and week 5 on a twelve week plant. That’s cool to experiment with the Bud XL, I’m happy to hear that it works for you. Peace!
